Carlos has been her for years. Great food, large portions.

Good greasy spoon. Hand made sausage patties. Great potatoes and homemade waffles. I also love that they don't use carton eggs for scrambled.

Fantastic food and fantastic people! The restaurant is small, so the interior feels a little cramped. But the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. The food is delicious! Nice and fresh, with fantastic flavors.

Carlos and his Staff are an amazing team! dining here is like going to "Nana's" kichen and grabbing your favorite seat. You truly are listening, smelling and watching as your meal is created. A down home casual environment offering picnic tables too. Staff greet you with menu in hand and a coffee in the other and off you go to start your day with a great meal. Take-out is only a phone call away! and during a stay at home time a great choice.

Came here because it had good reviews...but it was just alright. Parking was limited. There was a lot of variety of food but it bit on the expensive side. As soon as we sat down we got asked what to drink, but literally a minute after was asked if we were ready to order. We just got there, definitely not ready. Large portions of food so somewhat worth the money if you want to share with so someone. We felt like they wanted us out as soon as we were done eating. Lots of stares from the workers. Is it not ok to sit and chat with a friend...especially if it wasn’t busy.

Decent food, huge huge portions definitely bring your appetite this place serves serious food the only thing they're missing is pie

My brother and I picked up some food from Carlos during the pandemic. We decided to do breakfast we thought it was super easy, and they can't mess up but we were Wrong. My brother got biscuits and gravy (dry biscuit with tasteless gravy). I got eggs and hash Brown's (hard on outside and undercooked on inside). Although the proportions and prices were really nice. The actual quality (taste) was GROSS! I really wanted to support my local business but I probably won't EVER eat there again. I just don't understand why there food tasted weird. I really wanted to like them too.

The service was outstanding! Really felt welcome like family. Ordered soda and got our refill at the same time which is great because you don't have to track down your waitress to get more not that we had to because everyone was so attentive. Ordered the Hash brown and eggs breakfast. Everything was delicious, homemade and perfect. Big portions too! My husband ordered the Chicken fried Steak and eggs with extra homemade gravy.Did I mention they make their own fluffy biscuits!Mmm Definitely coming back with family! Thanks Carlos Kitchen!

Mine and my mom's favorite breakfast place! We go frequently for their great food and warm, competent service. We are greeted by the owner, who stops by the tables to say hello; always with a welcoming smile. Just a wonderful experience.

This place is exactly what you'd expect and hope for -- giant breakfasts that look and taste like something you would make at home. The prices are very reasonable and our server was charming and attentive.

Love this place! I've always enjoyed what I order! The portions are pretty big so either arrive hungry or be ready to request a to go box.

Very friendly atmosphere and great food

As other reviews have probably made note of, this place is fairly small, with less parking than would be ideal. But the interior has plenty of mirrors and windows that make the space feel bigger, and the food is very good. You also get bang for your buck here. You get a sizeable portion of food for a really decent price, and it's tasty! Try the orange juice, by the way - it's super fresh.

I am a regular, at Carlos’Kitchen. Heard about it years ago. Great food. A little hard to find. I only tell friends I like, about Carlos’ Kitchen. I go solo, so I usually sit at the counter or the two seat place by the window. I usually get the special of the day, which is often a wonderful omelet. A newspaper is usually available, and plenty of hot coffee. See you there. There is a treasure chest for good children who eat all there food.

Large portions and quick service, so the food is good and hot. Prices are comparable to most other diners and the owner is very friendly. (waitress could smile a bit more)

This is hands down the best diner in Santa Rosa. Amazing food with giant portions. The staff/owners are fun and friendly. It's definitely a family favorite of ours and whenever my mom visits from out of town this is her request :-) I love the hollandaise sauce and the Juevos rancheros and my mom and son love the strawberry waffles. You really can't go wrong with anything you order

The biscuits and gravy wasn't very good. Who puts garlic in biscuits and gravy? The biscuits were doughy. Needed salt too. The side order of sausage links was those cheap ones you can buy in the store without the casing. Huge portion but tasted like $>_#

This place rocks delicious 😋 food 👌 , they have vegetarian options as well and they are very affordable for the quantity of food they give. I ate the whole meal in less than 12 minutes.

This place is relatively cheap and always has good food and large serving. The interior is old school dinner themed and makes a wonderful atmosphere.

This is a great joint for home style cooking. Great food at great prices and an awesome staff. Veggie omelette was excellent with the hash browns. The biscuits & gravy with eggs was awesome. Great portions - enough to take home.

Love Carlos' the friendly casual atmosphere, the giant portions of good old Whiskey Tango dishes! Mmmm. Have you tried their Orange juice?! Fresh squeezed and to die for! Order it with the Super Spuds!
